Who would have thought that such an impressive fish could be caught from a pond in Battersea Park?

This man caught what we all anticipated to be an old boot, but it put up quite a fight. He battled against it till it was exhausted, then pulled the gasping, wide eyed fish to shore, where he posed for photographs. After obliging for his public the chap released the fish back to its algae covered domain.

I fear for the smaller fish…
