There were a lot of older people in the march. Walking backwards to take this shot of marchers with their banners, I suddenly had the feeling I was going to trip over and be trampled to death by a lot of elderly folk.

Some of these people took part in the original Aldermaston march in 1958 in which 10,000 people apparently took part.
